Some years ago, I was on the phone with a good friend of mine who was dating this girl he was very much in love with. Through this, and a succession of other conversations before this one we had about this girl and the problems they had in their relationship, it became glaringly apparent that this girl had a ton of baggage. I remember a few years ago I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone, (may his soul rest in peace), and he was proclaiming to me how he was going to get his sh*t together and then find him a “dime piece,” which to him (and many people who use those words) meant a very attractive woman who had her sh*t together, i.e. had a relatively high paying white collar job, intelligent, had her own place, and classy.
