My Wealth Chronicles 10.27.15 – Learning to Align Myself with “The Flow.”

River Ziller Rapids

One of my goals for this year was to overcome lack in my life in the area of my finances. As I put the intention out there to overcome this challenge, I’ve been having some interesting lessons and insights.

Two days ago, I was at the 7 Grains Health Food store in Harlem buying some Kangen water for myself and my Mom.

Before I continue I have to share that Kangen water is an amazing alkaline water and antioxidant whose molecules are micro-clustered for easier entry into our cells and thus better hydration. The water has amazing healing properties and people who’ve used it have reported to me greater vitality and energy, healing of cancer, eczema and other ailments, lowering of blood pressure, more youthful looking skin, etc.

Anyway, while I was buying the water, I overheard a young lady talking about her battle with cancer and her using alternative methods to overcome it. Intrigued, I joined the conversation and started asking her questions. It turns out that she was diagnosed with Stage One Hodgkin’s Lymphoma back in April 21st of this year and given six months to live by her doctor. He wanted her to go on chemotherapy but she refused and asked for other options. Because he had no other options he couldn’t see her as a patient anymore.

Needless to say, six months just about to the day she was diagnosed (the conversation took place on October 22nd), she was still alive. She started doing some type of immunotherapy (she told me the name but don’t get me lying on here as to what it is because I don’t remember) and from what she showed me what her tumour originally looked like around the time she was first diagnosed, it had shrunk significantly to the point it was no longer visible.

She furthermore told me that the treatment is expensive, but she’s determined to persevere and overcome this in order to live for her kids, and also to be an inspiration to others who are also battling cancer that you can overcome it without using the conventional toxic methods of chemotherapy that kills both the healthy cells and the cancerous cells and weaken the immune system which often makes the patient more susceptible to succumbing to the disease. She said she was thinking of starting a GoFundMe campaign to help finance her treatments.

As we were talking, I became increasingly touched, moved and inspired by the courage and determination of this woman. Also, because I love it whenever the status quo, i.e. The Illusion is proven wrong, I was impressed and pleased by the fact that she had so far proven her doctor wrong. I suggested that she drink Kangen water as I know of two people who told me that it helped their loved ones’ cancer go into remission and she pointed to a 16 oz. bottle on the counter she was buying.

With my heart having already gone out to this woman for the courageous battle she was raging as well as the financial challenges she was having, something deep within my spirit led me to buy her two more 32 oz. bottles of Kangen water to be of some help.

Now, as mentioned, I’m having my own financial challenges and have been for a long time. I was already buying myself and my Mom 2 gallons and then some, also, I have several things I’m getting off the ground in my life that already have me out of my comfort zone so I have to be frugal. However,
I’ve come to realize something this year – wealth is as much about giving as it is about receiving, and being that the word “current” is part of the word “currency,” money is a flow. Part of me overcoming financial lack is to align myself with the flow of money.

Realizing the wisdom of what Bishop T.D. Jakes said that once you align with purpose, provision will chase you, I’ve been doing my best to align with my purpose by pursuing the things that I’m naturally inclined to do from my heart and being out of my comfort zone to do things I initially had no idea as to how I was going to accomplish. With me aligning myself in this way, I believe it opened me up to have this very encounter I described with this inspiring woman where I was being used as a conduit to be a blessing to her.

It just flowed and it seemed so organic and natural to help this woman out. Plus it felt damn good in and of itself to be able to have the means to help someone. I didn’t care who else knew about it or saw it, it simply felt good to ME.

In the past, when I saw money in my life as coming from a limited source that gave me limited amounts that was enough for me to barely get by, I saw the parting with money for things that weren’t planned for as a stress inducing process because I had to worry about running out of money. Now, as my mind starts to shift about money, and I start to see it as part of a continuous flow of giving and receiving, I’m starting to see that as I align with my purpose, money can come to me from an infinite amount of possible sources that I don’t have to know or even be aware of.

I just have to KNOW that it flows to me and be open to receiving it and giving it when led to do so.

I believe I was put on this Earth to enlighten people and to help them step out of The Illusion. My encounter with this woman was more than just about giving her money. It was about helping her stay encouraged to continue on her own path of enlightenment, growth and self discovery. I felt I was being used as a vessel by God to bless this woman and remind her that He loves her and is by her side as she overcomes life’s challenges. Money was just one of the tools through which He meant to show her that.

By being willing to be used to bless this woman, I enabled myself to be part of a flow that will bless me in return, and that “return” may not necessarily be in money, but in some form that fits my needs.

I’m starting to see that the money you have is much more than what your bank balance says. In fact, our bank balance is an Illusion that blocks us from seeing how much wealth truly exists out there. When we focus on the bigger picture of what we were meant to do on this Earth and align with that by seeking to be a person of value, it’s a natural part of the process to stop seeing our bank balance as a hindrance to doing the things we desire and need to do.

This is The Viable Alternative.

Hope this helps,

Ike Love
